E-Biking in Competa

Competa sits in the hills, so getting around on a normal bike means some serious climbing. An electric bike takes care of that, and it's opened up a good way to explore the villages and valleys around town without needing to be super fit.

There are a few local hire shops in the village offering half day and full day rentals, with bikes suited to the terrain rather than road bikes. Staff there are generally happy to suggest routes depending on how much climbing you want to take on.

The motor takes the sting out of the hills, so you can reach viewpoints and nearby villages like Canillas de Albaida or Sayalonga without arriving worn out. It's a good option for a morning out before the pool, or a slower alternative to a full hiking day if you still want to get out and cover some ground.
